Sustainable Solutions in Packaging

Businesses will define their Sustainability focus in different directions depending on what they are manufacturing and the materials that they use in their processes. At Wunderlich, our products are environmentally friendly. Most forests producing trees for paper pulp are managed and replanted once the trees are harvested. Nearly all corrugated waste produced at our manufacturing facility returns to the paper mills and is reprocessed into paper products. Retail corrugated containers are recycled at increasingly higher levels each year because corrugated is a commodity worth saving and selling back to paper manufacturers.

We engineer packaging for our customers with Sustainability in mind. We design to meet our customers package requirements using the most efficient materials and manufacturing processes. We constantly work toward removing materials that are not environmentally friendly by developing innovative alternatives.

Examples of our Commitment to Sustainability

• -Recycle our plastic strapping & ink containers eliminating approximately 3,500 cubic feet of waste.
• -Recycle office paper, printer cartridges and aluminum cans.
• -Purchased more fuel efficient cars for our sales team saving over 1800 gallons of gasoline a year and reducing our CO2 emissions by more than 38,000 pounds per year.
• -Converted to cleaner more efficient fork trucks.
